Back in the 1990's, a Buddhist monk from Chuang Yen Monastery, Carmel, NY, gave his account of what he does every day, for 30 years since a young man (even after withdrawing into solitary meditation for several year-long periods). He still sits on a pillow and watches his breath. We share the same starting point. It's where I learned a lot about meditation. www.baus.org/
