Individual Yoga
Private instruction is suitable for individuals, one or more people, who prefer a personal approach which includes discussion and closer collaboration between teacher and student. It is often a good introduction for people less certain of their movement abilities. Individual instruction can adapt to your best schedule when personal schedules conflict with yoga studio class times.
Private instruction includes an additional level of attention for therapeutic assistance needed for injury or illness challenges. Rehabilitation assistance for knees, hips, thoracic surgeries; post traumatic stress relief from service, accidents and other anxiety.
Pulmonary function strengthening and rehab with individualized breathing exercises.
Individual yoga offers support for stroke and TBI recovery.
We have appropriate movement for spinal restrictions and autoimmune disorders, from Rheumatoid Arthritis to Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, Lupus and Fibromyalgia, to different neuropathies and myalgias.
Each class includes guided movement connecting mind and body. Consideration for individual circumstances, including personal home practice routines.
By appointment. Private studio class fee is $45 per single person, add participants @ $10 per person, (for ex- 2 people = $55).
Discussion, breath and movement practice with conversational assessment lasts approximately 1.5 hours.
Recent examples of private classes have included individual conditioning, couple sessions, and bachelorette parties.
Ongoing private classes include a class for intellectually disabled adults, open to interested adults and their caregivers by request.
